My first image with "the big girls and boys"! Have posted 3 pics on eager to learn but feel there is a lot more traffic here so hopefully lots of critiques!
Canon7D
70-200mm with 1.4x converter at 255mm
ISO 400
SS 1/400
Aperture Priority (I know I know... I should be in Manual but I was walking the beach in St. Pete's with hubby and it drives him crazy when I interrupt our walks to lie in my belly and start fiddling with the camera!))
ECV +2/3
Taken 1/2 hour after sunrise

Gail, I think you can push the exposure a bit more as you said 30 mins after sunrise, should bit brighter than posted. I love the low angle and the smooth water in the FG.

Fantastic work!! Everything looks spot on to me. Just some tiny tweaks to make it sing...:w3

Excellent image! I love the low angle composition. IMO, lightening & sharpening bring out the image's potential.

Thank you so much Ofer. What exactly did you do PP? I have just ordered a trial of CS5 and will start learning how to use it! Right now I have LR3.
I see you increased exposure and sharpened-anything else?

I think I have also boosted vibrancy a bit.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Nice image Gail! I like the reflection in the foreground, low angle and pose. Ofers repost looks great.

Fantastic perspective, love the smooth FG, and the BG is pretty cool too. Ofer's repost gives it the boost it needed. Only thing that could have made it better would be for the far foot to be fully atop the "ridge".

Nothing "wrong" with AV...

Gail, getting down and dirty on your belly has paid off here - and it was on a nice sandy beach.:w3 Good walking pose with the raised leg, and Ofer's repost has addressed the sharpness and exposure. I could see this with a slightly darker BG????

Hi Gail, nice image with perfect pose and HA. Exposure could be a little lighter to give the image more pop. Like the mirror/glass like reflection of the beach sand
