Hi Chris, good wing position from the spoonbill to create a better silhouette. These always work well against a colourful BG, and you have achieved just that. An opportunity well used. :w3

Chris I like this - I like the mood of the image.

It looks like the bird is flying away from you? - I often see this as a negative critique comment against a BIF image. Should this apply to a silhouette image as well?

I love the colours here, and the clouds add alot to the image. I also like the subtle translucence to the wing feathers. I could see this one with about half the bottom space cropped , plus some off at right too for a stronger comp. Quite appealing!

I'm not sure what is preferred for silhouettes but yes, it is flying away slightly.

I agree with Daniel on the crop. I love the position of the subject between the clouds. Nicely done!!
