The main subject is very cute, well exposed, sharp (in a fuzzy sort of way :t3)

Good shooting angle.

Would prefer not to have the cut off bird heading out of the frame on the left.

More DOF might have helped with the bird on the right, at the expense of bringing the BG more into focus.

Be sure to include your camera model and any post work done, as it helps us critique.

One additional thought, if the left bird wasn't there, I might even try a tight vertical

Dan, liked the exposure and the sharpness. I'd have preferred it alone. Its not always easy to isolate goslings, ducklings and cygnets.If possible, lower angle would have been better...esp. if you had the green grass in the BG...we can see hint of it at the top.

Nice and sharp on the main subject and I actually don't mind the extra birds. One leaving the frame and one entering it, sort of frames the middle bird nicely:S3:
