I'm not familiar with this beautiful bird but really like the image. I like the placement of the bird in the frame and the complimentary background color which makes the sparrow pop.

Nicely done.

Nice-looking bird, good pose with a perfect HA. The foliage is particularly vibrant - did you boost the saturation on it? Comp is good but a bit too tight IMO. Since this guy is seemingly not feeding I find the dirty bill too bad (I'd like it more if obvious feeding was going on).

Great work, agree that its a little tight and could do with some more space. Light is perfect and the face/head is sharp as a tack. Just be careful with those intermediate ISO values on that camera. They are implemented a bit strangely and can sometimes produce more noise than the full stop ISO values like 200, 400, 800 etc. No noise to speak of in this image though :w3

loverly bird, pose, HA, and Sharpness. Yes to a bit more room, a bit lighter, and a bit less SAT.

Thanks. yes I boosted the saturation, because primary color rendering of this Sigma lens is not fine for me.

I too like the more subdued colors.
