Never saw one of these , so thanks for posting it. It is a sweet image with fine details and composition. Might try to blur the BG a bit.

Really like the crop here. And of course the cool subject. I like Joe's idea of a little more BG blur, and I might run a bit more sharpening on the head.

nice bird and a delicate tail Harshad, it looks a bit soft due to slow shutter speed.

Harshad:

Love the wind lifted tail feathers, perky crest, colors in the bird.

A challenge to crop because of the tail, agree with Joe about the background. I would consider trying to tone down the brighter spots, esp. the one above his back.

Hope to see more of this beauty.

Cheers

Randy

Lovely curled tail across the image, and the flycatcher has fairly striking colours. I would maybe crop some off the bottom.

Can not add much to the critique, but I must comment on the beautiful subject. Your posts are always fun because of the different species in your area of the world. It certainly punctuates the world wide beauty of birds in general. Thanks very much for sharing.

Harshad,

Still working on mine or would be if my computer was ever repaired (Dell).

This is a really beautiful bird, which for others loses most of this colour when he matures and becomes a ghostly white. Try as we may I know I did not get anything presentable of a full adult.

Very nice HB. I saw the thumbnail and wondered about the bird being placed way on the right until I opened the post and saw that wonderful tail.
