Bald Eagle

Hello everyone,

Took a trip to the Mississippi River yesterday. This is the first image of many that I've worked on so far. It was late morning, sun and wind both from the south, eagle over the ice and snow. I used evaluative metering in Av mode with no compensation. Servo focus (which doesn't seem to perform nearly as well as my Mark II did). Canon 40D, Canon 600 f/4, Canon 1.4x.

I would be tempted to crop some off the top and see how it looks. I like the left to right placement and the bottom with the white as a compositionally anchor is perfect. Nice work.
