3 month old juvenile bald eagle with dinner dad just brought in. From last night.

MKIII, EF 500 with 1.4x, 1/1000, F/5.6, ISO 640, EC + 1/3, hand held

Wow, what action! Angle is steep, as I'm sure you know, and it seems a bot over-saturated to me.

Beautiful. I think the steep angle and shadows come together to create a great mood in this image.

I might tone down the bright area of the fishes head/gill right below the talons.

WOW... Would kill for an image like this... Steep angle and all.... Welllll...Maybe not "KILL" kill.

Great image Mike. And of course it is a steep angle. Baby eagles are high up in trees.

WOW, could you get some more atitude please! I like it, the angle doesn't bug, but the reds do seem a bit over the top on my monitor.

A bit overshaturated and harsh lighting. But the actions is out of this world. I could see myself watching this guy tear the fish apart for hours. Thanx for sharing.

Thanks Jim. Nothing can be done about the angle and I like the perspective it adds. Eagles in general and particularly the young never eat close to the ground so you have to take what they give you. The Dutch masters realized the impact of shadows setting mood. I don't feel a bird or animal has to be uniformly lit to be well done.

I have reedited it per everyones suggestions. Thanks for the help.
