Very nice light, texture, Ovidiu, and black BG works well. It almost looks like decorative cake frosting. Very nicely done! :5

Another winner, Ovidiu! Very nice use of light - I like all the detail and subtle color shades in the whites. Well done.

Hey Ovidiu,
The delicate textures and shapes of the whites really comes through! Black BG makes the whole thing pop! Very nicely doen with the lighting too!

Beautiful Peony. Wish I were more successful at growing them.

The black bg works well here. You handled the whites and light very well. I like the composition. I like the backlighting, but wish there were more light on the rest of the flower. The backlighting accentuates the petals on the right edge, which are not the most interesting petals. I think I'd prefer to see backlighting around the entire flower, or have the lightest areas be the flower itself.

Thanks for sharing.
