Ken:

Striking interaction here, and although the head angles are away from us on 3 of the birds, the interaction makes it work for me.

If allowed, fill flash would have opened up the shadow areas, esp. the faces.

I would tone down the brightness of the large stick in the BG.

Cheers

Randy

Great action captured. Must have been the fight of the Day:bg3:

Clever title Ken. :w3 One of them must have upset the applecart here. Good interaction, all with open beaks. The angle looks fine, considering captured from a vehicle.

Randy,

A "flash gun" is one of the endless things that you are not allowed in Indian Parks, although built in is apparently OK.

Chris and Stuart,

Thanks a lot

Neat- starlings will be starlings.

I tried Photoshop's Shadows and Highlights and some dodging on the image and the faces of the birds opened up really nicely with noise not becoming an issue at all.

John,

I normally do not like to use Shadows and Highlights, but in this case I think it works, thanks for the tip:cheers::cheers:

I know what you mean Ken. I don't use it much either and it's hard (for me at least) to pick the images where it works before I test it out.
