Nice image Don - this is a species I've not yet photographed, but would really like to. You got the exposure right on - the feather detail is very good. I do find the background a little busy - a lower perspective / larger aperture might have helped isolate the bird a bit more. I do also wish the bird's head was turned a bit more toward the viewer.

Don nice to get one not banded A lower shooting angle would have been nice and you should have shot this at 5.6 not f/8 to throw the BG OOF.
