Reddish Egret @ Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, FL 8/22/10

Created by exposing the water to clipping thereby rendering full detail in the egret.

I love images with a minimalist artsy feel. The comp too is just perfect for me. Very "stylish" image. Nicely done, Robert.

Sharp with decent light on the bird. Would crop out all the left half to make this a tight vertical as I don't see the justification for all this empty white area on the left unless you want to fill it with text...:w3

A very interesting and striking image Robert, the space works very well with nice subtle detail in the subject. If it was to be converted to 'pure' B/W would it loose the nice tones, or be too striking?

I love the fishing pose here, and combined with the high-key look makes for a very artistic image. Only thing I'd do is eliminate the horizontal line that connects the bill and legs in the reflection. Well done!

Daniel, thanks. Good suggestion. One of the reasons I had not corrected anything in the image like that is because I have entered it into contests. But for me personal version I will do that.
