Bobcat (captive) in natural setting nature park. This park deals with primarily native to the northwest animals and plant life and the enclosures are quite large for the carnivores. The free roaming area for the prey species is about 400 acres accessible by tram only.

I like the coming at you and eye contact very much Also like the framing

The rear leg is blurred but doesn't bother me much Would like to tone down the green just a bit and would also work on the right eye to lighten Excellent capture Todd !!!!

Great coming at you capture, Todd. It seems a bit over-sharpened to me.

I would have to agree on the oversaturation. You could also try a reverse s-curve to reduce the high-contrast.

Todd,

Nice shot!. Haven't had much luck with the bobcat at NWT. I had better luck with the lynx, but that was because I had the camera glued to my head so long follow-focusing him that I actually wore off part of my eyebrow. No kidding!

Thanks for the comments. Here is a repost to address the nits mentioned. I just used existing post rather than going back to tiff.

Nice capture. I guess I am in the minority in that I like the sharpness of the face in the original.

We have wild ones in the field and woods behind our house - can't ever see 'em just hear 'em at night from time to time.
