Although this is not a great bird image I would like to identify this bird. Can anybody help? The tip of its bill is dark or black. I took the photo in Crest Hill, Illinois.

It looks a bit like a variety of flycatcher...

Hi Tom. My guess is Warbling Vireo with a mutation of the bill color? The bill shape and the light eye line makes me think Warbling V. I can't find any NA or European species of songbird with such a pied bill! Interesting!

Looks like a Warbling Vireo to me. I believe the dark bill tip is caused by a shadow. The line of demarcation between dark and light just looks too perfect.
