I reached into the archives for this image of the iconic Portland Head Light just after sunrise. Any C&C welcome!

Hi Mike,
Beautiful light!
A few things...I believe the image isn't level and could use some CW rotation.
Secondly, I would of included more of the rocks on the lower rt or none at all....

Lovely soft light and subject. Agree with Dave on the rotation and LR FG rocks. I would crop them out altogether just above the small rockon the right.

Loved the warm lighting here. Might crop off a few pixels from the left.
The rock in mid-right looks a tad soft compared to the rest of the frame.

Hey Mike,
Agree with Dave on the rotation and rocks. Next time out try an even slower SS to give the water a smoother look. I think a pano crop after the rotation will work very nicely....so minor tweaks to a classic!

Mike,

Good comments above. I would also suggest some mild shadow/highlight adjustment to increase details in the shadows.

Thanks to all for the excellent suggestions. Here's a repost reflecting some of those ideas. A definite improvement!
