Finally I got around to work on an image I can post! This image of the Western Grebe is from few weeks ago taken late in the afternoon with long shadows. The grebe was preening and as it swung its head around, the water droplets formed a nice curve. For processing, I used Fractalius with adjusted depth and brightness. Changed opacity of the layer and used a mask to open-up the eye and part of the face. Hope you like it...

Wonderful image Indranil! I love the dreamy quality and golden-yellow-green glow. Some of the most subtle Fractalius work I've seen, very nice! :c3: Love that eye too.

This is really beautiful, Indranil! Elegant pose, and wonderful light & reflections. The water drops are a great touch as is the reflected light on the Grebe's neck. Nicely done treatment and composition! :S3:

It almost looks like he's flinging that water circle in your direction! Awesome effect and I love the choice of ss here.
