Nice low angle, looks sharp to me although maybe a tiny bit more selective sharpening on the face won't hurt. Maybe some boost in colour saturation.

I am probably going back to visit this guy again next weekend, unless you are coming up to Ft. Desoto hahaha.

Nice angle here which shows off the bird very well. This capture does not appear sharp to my eyes, and I agree on boosting the SAT just a tad.

Troy, low angle, HA and the florida white sand and blue color make this one for me. Subject is very well placed. Elegant pose with the bent leg.

Yes, to one round of USM on the bird. Color sat looks good to me...but take word of photogs from Sydney and Tampa over mine :-) I am just not used to seeing that kind of water color :-)

Thank you all.
I am not sure if it is just me. It seems like that I need to apply a lot more sharpening on the shore birds like these than the others.

I agree. A bit more sharpening would help. I like the low angle. Nice bird

They usually have finer feather detail and need a little bit different sharpening values in both radius and amount. Really nice pose and I like how you placed him against the water with the white beach.

I re-edited based on the USM and Saturation suggestions.
