Love everything about this image, Kaustubh. Nice and low, perfect exposure and detail and a marvelous, multitoned pastel BG. My only criticism would be that the large amount of BG at the top is slightly out of proportion to the relatively small amount of FG at the bottom. This is a minor nit, however, and I can see why you made this framing decision: you probably wanted to keep those sweet colors at the top and avoid too much OOF water at the bottom.

Gorgeous photo!

This is pleasing on every level, Kaustubh. The colors and detail are wonderful. Comp is perfect. Gorgeous subject. What a winning shot.

Sweet as could be. Sweet bird and sweet light. I disagree 100% with John; I love twice as much room above as below in situations like this; especially considering that beautiful soft BKGR.

Lovely photo. Proportions are perfect for me.

I really like how the Gadwall is nicely separated from both bg and fg. The nice contrast and detail give it a very nice separation from the soft oof pastels.

Very well done.
