Known as a snake fly as well , i found this guy to hide in the leafs .
This is a crop about 50% this guy was verry little my lens was to the limmit .

Hi Kostas, that is one very cool looking bug! They remind me of the lacewings we have here. The image seems a little dark and soft and could use some extra contrast IMO.

I agree, this is a very cool looking fly, Kostas. It does have a snake like head. Nice capture and pretty good even light, and contrast from BG. Maybe lighten the back half of the wings a just a bit. Nice work! :S3:

Weird and cool looking critter. Only wish that the white patches in the BG did'nt exist right behind the head/thorax of the insect but well, we often take what we get in nature photography.
Kudos on this fine capture.

Hi Kostas. This is a very cool looking insect that I haven't seen before. You captured a nice pose and got the whole body within your DOF. There are already some suggestions above for you to consider. I might also suggest cloning some of the flash-generated spectral highlights. :S3:
