Very nice portrait and I like the crop you chose. Great BG. There seems to be some dark ghosting on the left edge of the photo proabably introduced in post processing.

Like the sharpness, pose and HA. The perch looks very nice too.
The left edge needs to be looked at as Allen mentioned.
I would prefer the bird higher in the frame with more of that perch if you have it. If you don't have more of the perch, I'd try a horizontal crop.
Did you use a flash? There seems to be a bit of a steel eye effect.

Beautiful image. The light looks great showing the nice details in the bird. I would have liked to see more space around instead of a close-up. Of course that's an individual choice. Also would it have been possible to get a gradient background instead of the flat green background.

Great BG...But there looks like you have done to much noise reduction on the bird. Its lacking detail especially around the head. and the dark patch along the right are distracting...I think its worth a revisit in PP...TFS:S3:

Focus point appears to be on the near wing so the head looks a little soft IMO. I like the green background but I would prefer a crop with less space on the top.
