One of these days I'll get this beautiful; creature in a real blue sky with no high this clouds...at least I hope so!

Jim:

What a striking fellow. Nice to see you getting the opportunities, even if not exactly what you want (yet!)

Good exposure, sharp, like the banking pose and well spread tail feathers.

Cheers

Nice exp and pose...Bird seems to be lacking some detail (almost like a big crop)...Glad you are getting your opportunities for this dream bird of yours:S3:

Not a big crop at all. The bird is so white and with it's feathers slicked back in flight there simply isn't anything contrasting on it to give detail./ It reminds me a lot of when I photographer an Ivory Gull in flight.

Great flight pose!

Hope you get some more opportunities and looking forward to seeing the results!

I love this ghost-like image. And I don't mind at all the light blue sky; in fact, I might try de-saturating the blue to give it a more stark feel.

I'm wondering if this is an albino bird Jim. I don't see any sign of pigment. The eye would be the clincher.

Very cool that you get to photograph this spectacular beauty of a hawk! Comp-wise I'd prefer the space above and below be reversed (bird lower in the frame), and I would fiddle with the sky colour to make it less cyan. Nice wing spread.

Awesome capture Jim. I love the full wing spread and the striking bird. I agree w/ Daniel regarding the cyan, lovely image!:S3:
