unsubscribing to a thread

Is there any way of doing this once you have subscribed???

There are a few ways.

1)
Under Settings (next to your profile link)
My Subscribed Threads section on the left.
Select the checkbox for the thread you want to unsubscribe.
At the bottom of the list, There a Selected Thread button with a option to delete a subscription.

2) Don't click on the link that redirects you to the message you subscribed to. Clicking on the link renews the subscription to that thread.

3) Click on the link in the notification request after the phrase "To unsubscribe from this thread, please visit this page:"
