Shot taken at Ft. Desoto last Friday. This guy was posing for a few photographers. We were able to get about within 20 feet. Got flat on the sand to get to eye-level. Hope you like it.

Excellent techs!! Maybe a bit more room on the right.

Great IQ, and overall well exposed. I do like the detail and colours, and agree, a little more room on the right will work.

Very nice, Troy. Lovely light, exposure and low angle. I'd probably try with some more room on both sides is possible.

Love the low angle and the sweet light and ditto Sidharth on the framing.

Gotta love these guys. Great light and color. I'll go contrarian and suggest that personally a little room on the left would help. (And maybe a tad on the right.) I might be tempted to clean up the eye a little bit if that's within your ethic. It seems common to see slight imperfections in the eyes of Oystercatchers, so I suppose the image need not try to show perfection where it doesn't exist. (PS also very nicely exposed, and great low angle.)

One of these days I might get to see one of these creatures in real life...I hope!

Everything looks as it should be...enjoy the low angle and like the others suggested, I would add a bit more room on the right.

Thank you all.
Reprocessed the shot with more room all around.
