Slowly going thru my Fort Desoto Files. I wish the sun angle would have been about 20 degrees better.

Cheers,

Mikko

You have done a pretty good job with the light from the right. Sharp with a very nice bird in very bright breeding plumage. The top of the bill might do better with a Linear Burn....

Lovely colours and sharpness. Light angle doesn't bother me here as you have enough light on the face and the angle highlights the plumage textures. Maybe a bit more space for the virtual legs but it depends on how the OOF water would look.

Excellent detail, sharp, and I like the colours on the egret. Maybe just a tad more space at the bottom.

Beautiful light and colours Mikko. Lovely feather detail. Would consider having more space at the bottom for the virtual legs.

Mikko, this is an excellent shot. Perfect shooting and bird angle. Spot-on exposure and wonderfully sharp. If you have more room in the front, I think including the spot where his gaze htis the water will make it better....and some more room at the bottom to balance that. As-is, I have loved it a lot too...well done.
