Vicious Attack

This vicious little RWBB actualy landed on the kite and road him while biting his neck and jabbing him with its talons. I have over a dozen frames with the RWBB riding the kite in repeated attacks. The image was made this morning.

Fantastic action captured Jim, that certainly looks very vicious. Nice and sharp with good eye contact. I do like the inclusion of the reeds in the frame.

The kite seems to be not too worried - this is an amazing capture of two species interacting.

I like how the reeds give a sense of place and this is not happening way up in the sky. Some may remove that reed behind the kites foot but I would leave it.
