A blur using a little circular motion and a levels adjustment. f/18, 1/2 sec., ISO 100
Thanks for looking. Comments & suggestions appreciated:S3:

Cheryl, Very nice circular motion with this blur mixed with radiating straight lines - very creative. I also like the hint of purple swirls interspersed. My eye gets pulled to the thicker bright areas in the upper-left, which I wish weren't so strong.

Really like the effect of the circular motion you created with this, Cheryl. The composition has a lot of very interesting elements that keep the eye exploring. The light purple curls remind me of smoke. I see what Scott means regarding the brighter area, maybe just toning it down a bit would make an even stronger comp. Very nice!:S3:

Scott, Brendan and Denise - thanks for your comments:S3: I was being very literal with the straight out of the camera theme and although on my computer that area wasn't blown out I would have liked to have toned that area down. Here's a repost with what I would have done. Hopefully it improves the image.
