Arno. This is a very interesting bird with a penetrating stare. I like the sharpness of the image and the diagonal wing position, and the blue sky sets the bird off very nicely. My only suggestion would be to brighten the lighter colored feathers just a tad.

Lovely eye contact with those penetrating eyes. The diagonal comp and blue BG with hint of cloud is nice and I like the warm light reflecting back up under the wings. The right edge of the image is showing some artefacts ?stretched pixels from a quick canvas extension

Hi Arno, good exposure on the underwing, looking up to the sky, and just love the eye contact here. I do like the diagonal flight pose, and clouds always add interest to a sky BG.

Tony, well spotted ! Some stretching artefacts from extending a sliver of canvas to the right of the left wing tip. Thank you (very sloppy PP work !! :e3 )
Have zoomed in and cleaned up the stretch marks !

Also lens used was 500mmF4 + 1.4x . My apologies !
