Another image I captured while waiting for the bore tide to come down the Turnagain Arm in Alaska. This time I zoomed in on the Alaska Range, just under a 100 miles away.

Canon 50D
70-200 @ 200mm
1/1000
f8
ISO 200
Tripod, levels adjustment, cropped, USM and NR applied.

C&C welcome and appreciated. Thanks,

Rachel

Hi Rachel, I like the mountains as presented but as in your previous image I would like to see more of the cut black area or none at all. The white clouds look a bit funky and if this were my image I would crop the top right below them.

Thanks Dave for the comments. I've got another photo which I took between the 2 where the water hasn't filled in the black area yet, I'll try to post that one tonight or tomorrow.

Hey Rachel,
Specs look good.....so I wonder if the softness is from the NR. At ISO 200.....I don't think you needed it. Will peek in on the repost now.

I feel that the mud flats in the FG really strength the image and are needed.
