There is a lot to like here. The pose, the exposure, ha, the white underwings, the water drops. It is a real shame you could not have gotten the entire egret. That would have made it one of the very best egret shots I have seen. :S3:

Sid - the lighting is just fantastic on this shot. The pose is quite different than we normally see - those widely staggered legs make for a very interesting shot. Well done.

Mea culpa. I am embarrassed by the view on my laptop when first saw this image. Something happened last night and I could not scroll to see the egret's full left wing.
I take back anything negative I said and stand by "one of the very best egret shots I have seen."
