This is one from last at bird sancutary. I tried Gary's trick and shot low through the fence. seems to work really well, but you need watch your angle of view. Nikon D300s 400mmf2.8 w/ 1.4 ext. induro tripod. I only have photoshop elements, I darken the body just a little sharpened the whole image and crop some off the top and right side. comment welcome
thanks for looking

Looks great Randy, If the wind was a little softer the background may have faded to a solid blue.:S3: You were farther to the left and seem to keep the image quality. Nice and sharp, exposure looks great. Glad to see you posting!

Gary.

Randy:

Nice job, good angle, nice eye, sharp.
In a perfect world, would prefer his right wing a bit more open.

Keep them coming.

cheers

Looks like the angle approach you took worked well. Good comp. I agree with Randy about right wing (our left), and I also find the head soft...it may be worth sharpening it more for web, but looks like critical focus is on the body.

You Michigan boys have a great spot there for waterfowl!!

Lovely pose and nice color...But the head does seem soft.
