Lovely pose of one of my fav birds. It needs a not more room at the top and in my opinion, you could use the burn tool on the branches to tone them down. Great creamy background.

Love the wing position. I agree with Fabs about burning the stuff in the foreground. Also, the bird is oversharpened and there is a pronounced sharpening halo; it looks like it's probably sharp enough to hold its own without the added sharpening.

If looks could kill...:confused: Lovely composition, and background colors that blend in real nice. The details on the bird are great. I agree with Fabs about adding more canvas on top..

An excellent shot, I agree with the nits mentioned. There is software from Croma which gives you a plugin for Photoshop with Cokin filter set that lets you apply all of Cokins filters and grads. I use the nd filter and make it a grad, it will do a better job the the burn tool. It lets you adjust area strength and intensity.
