Nice subject and interesting composition, Bhavya. I like the highlights on the water drops and the how the large drop is acting as a lens, focusing light on the petal below. I think the image would work better if either everything was in sharp focus, or if only the area in the vicinity of the UR rule of thirds position was. You might want to experiment with a radial blur or a Gaussian blur with a layer mask if the second idea appeals to you.

Like the convolutions of the petals in this one, Joshi. Nice yellow color, and water drop is nice touch! Mitch makes good suggestions regarding focus. Keep them coming! :S3:

Hi Joshi. This is a nice tight view of the rose and the water drops add interest. On my monitor, it looks like the image could be brightened a little. Not having seen the flower, I'm wondering if the image has a color cast? The yellows seem to have a lot of green in them. Was this the true color? :S3:

Hi Joshi,

Mitch and Steve brought up some good suggestions. Unfortunately with your camera, I don't think it is possible to produce a really shallow DOF so your best option would be to try and get everything in focus.

I think you could crop in a lot tighter, saving just the center of the flower, and end up with something mostly in focus. Maybe something like this.

Thanks Ken..For suggestion,my range of camera is up to F/9.. So.. it is difficult to focus a whole. I try to crop more tightly as you say.. but Image loss his sharpness:eek:.. and its already don't have good sharpness.
If i am thinking wrong.. PL tell me..:S3:
