If this was taken up here then I'd say this is extreme!! Coots are not as easy to find or easy to approach in my neck of the woods:S3:

Awesome details, and good job on the exposure. The red eye is fantastic. I could see the coot placed a little more to the left of the frame, but very nice!

Excellent Coot. Very nice exposure, the red eye is pretty cool. Love the background. almost looks like a backdrop from a studio. Great detail on the blacks, great job.

Nice exposure Kerry - coots are always tough with that black plumage and ivory beak. The detail in the eye is great and I like the "dreamy" swirls in the background.
