I love this perky fellow, nice perch, soft background, nice eye detail, soft, directional light.
Nice job handholding with that combination of lens and shutter speed.
If it were mine, I would try a version with a modest crop from the left, get him a bit more off center.

Nice pose and light. I see this as a vertical if you have more on the bottom to add.

Very Nice light, a beautiful pose. The branch is so nicely captured it almost takes away from the bird.

I like the lighting, HA and feather detail on the crest. I would like to see a vertical as well. Beautiful image Geir.

Excellent detail and pose. I think the exposure is a bit low on the cheeks and upper chest for this bird. Probably a product of processing and trying too hard to retain detail. I think you can also get rid of the blue/cyan that appears on the bird's left face, legs feet and perch . Altogether though, a superb image.

Love the perch and what a cool bird...the IQ on the head is great...Would like to have seen more DOF but still great image:S3:...Maybe a portrait crop?
