I was unusually close when this tiny gal/guy flitted onto a bare branch. It
won't be long before the leaves obscure them completely.

I like this one better. Seems like he is looking up towards the sun, and the buds add a sense of impending spring, and frame him nicely.

Faint spiderweb below a bonus. Sharp on the face.

Hi,

I like the crop, and especially the 3-D effect of the eye in its socket. Hard bird to get a sharp shot of, as they never seem to sit still! But it would have been even better if you could have got a bit more level with the bird and shown more of the wing and a bit less of the underparts.

Look sharp with good feather details. Agree that the branch help frame the bird here. I might try to run NR on just the background here.

Great looking bird, like the pose & diagonal perch, Terry. Real nice exp, and detail on this, and like the smooth, neutral BG. Nicely done!
