Hi Pierre.

This is an interesting image, sharp and with a good diagonal orientation. The red colors are beautiful, the background is good, and the water droplets add further interest.

But please tell us more about the camera and lens that you used.

Possible suggestions for improvement would be to sharpen a bit less (there is a slight halo, especially at the tip) and to clone out the white spots.

But otherwise, nicely done!

Interesting subject, especially with the water drops. I like the angled composition/leading line from lower right. Perfect OOF background. My personal preference would have been to rotate the camera a bit CCW so the stem enters the frame near but not through the corner.

Hi Pierre and welcome to the Macro forum! This is a very nice image and Norm has pretty well covered my thoughts so I won't repeat. :S3: I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work here.

Hi Pierre, Norm also covered most of my thoughts pretty well but I actually think could stand to be sharpened a bit more by using the high pass filter. High pass sharpening works well with this kind of bright subject. Give it a try! :S3:
