Taken from my just completed Florida Instructional tour. Had a great group and we finished off on the Hooptie Deaux with James and the spoonies.....but figured I'd post this one first from the morning in Ft. Myers. Had a great wind that first morning so took full advantage of it. I have 2 planned for next year so PM me if interested in these wek long instuctional tours as I haven't announced them to the general public yet!
Canon 1D Mark lll with the Sigma 300-800mm lens at 406mm and ISO 800 at f6.3 for 1/2500 sec. Cropped a bit from top and right.

wow, that's really a stunner, Roman. Fantastic wing spread. Did you use fill flash on that or is that just natural light? Amazing detail.

Only natural light.....pretty early so the sun was fairlyl low....wind helped as it made them turn perfectly into the light.

Hey Roman, excellent detail and love the angled landing posture. Normally we dont like a bland cloudless sky, but it seems to work here. Well captured.

I really like the nice head turn and how bill is separated.

A ton of detail and nice wing span.

A couple dust bunnies above and below left wing tip just in case you were printing.
