Taken at the local bird sanctuary yesterday. Had some nice light for a Michigan day. 1D4 500f4 w/1.4tc handheld. 1/1600 f7.1 iso 500. C&C welcome, Thanks, Ron

Beautiful display here,sharp wingtip to wingtip and bill to tail. Good green sheen on head.

A bit tight top and bottom.

Well done.

I had hoped to go today, but just as I was getting ready, the clouds rolled in!

Thanks Guys, I thought you would be out yesterday Randy, Maybe next time. I awoke to sun then like you said it quickly turned cloudy ;(

Nice pose, well exposed, and love the warm tones to the BG. Green sheen is perfect, and great details throughout. I do wish the speculums were bluer (depending on the light it does happen that they look black though, so no biggie) and I would tone down the two thickish pale OOF lines as they are distracting IMO.

Avery sweet image. I cannot believe that Dan beat me to the wish that the speculum were bluer critique. I would try a non-destructive dodge on them....

It is still beautiful; you did a good job of brightening the blue speculum.
