Very nice pose and soft light. Would prefer to see the bird smaller in the frame.

It is a very dynamic pose, only slight improvement would for the head to be a bit farther forward to clear the wing. Yes, agree with Ofer, too bid in frame.

I would also lightly tone down the brightness of the bushes above the bird .

Good suggestions from the two previous commentors. You did get great timing, and I like the reverse "C" shape of the wings from tip to tip.

My first thought was that you used a flash. The wings underneath are very well lit (must be the florida sunshine!) Well exposed on the heron, but I agree about the bushes being a little bright.

Nice water droplets but with the bird angling away from you and the head partially hidden by the wing this one does not work for me. The head also looks soft (as one might expect....)

Head looks a bit soft to me also, but I really like the action implied by the wings and water droplets.
