Your bird is sharp, well exposed, engaging head posture, pleasant background.

The large cane in front however detracts from the image.

It blocks too much of the bird.

Do you have anymore in the series without the cane in the way?

Interesting and sharp. I would not dislike the purple stem as much as I do if you had gotten the whole bird in the frame.... You have cut off the tail as well as the virtual feet. Not sure why. There is some healthy noise in the BKGR.

How big a crop?
