Another image from Marco Island
40D, 500 f/4, 1/200- at f/5.6, Manual Mode, Evaluative Metered, ISO 400. Raw, Tripod, small cropped to slight pano and cloned out some reflections in the water from other birds.

Quite well done and a nice bird to boot with the bright yellow lores. Like the COMP and the water. Wish only that the near wing were fully raised.

Agree with Artie. Loving the whites in this one a lot, Don. Excellent angle of the bird and the shooting angle.

Another one with very nice light.
The head area is very sharp at 1/200.
I like the nice pose and how the bird appears to be wading through the water.
