nicely exposed, seems the light was against you

Thank you,
The light was not against me, it was about noon but kinda overcast, and i wanted to get a lower angle but as soon as i put a foot out of the car, the caracara was gone :(

Nice look-back pose, Alfredo. Exposure is good considering harsh side light. Agree that lower angle would help. Since the bird wasn't moving, I'm wondering if you had shot this at f/5.6 and 1/320 sec, the shallower DOF would help blur the BG.

Thank you Keith,
i think the 70-300VR @300 and f5.6 is pretty soft, and i wanted a sharp image. that is not going to be a problem anymore as i now have a 300mm f4 AF-S :D
and 1 question.
if i had the shot at f8 and 1/640, and stept down to f5.6 the ss shouldnt be 1/1200 instead of 1/320 as you said???

Yes, I should have said 1/1200 sec, not 1/320 sec. Oops... :e3
