Tried something a bit different with this one. Cropped from horisontal and tight crop to emphasise the theme.

I would open up the shadows just a teeny bit on this one...

Very nice low-angle head-on capture, sharp on the eyes. A bit more DOF might have helped detail on neck feathers, maybe at ISO 800. Agree that you could open the shadows a bit.
