Nikon 85mm macro + 1.4 converter

Does anyone know if the 1.4 etc. converters will fit the nikon 85mm macro? I have the book that came with the lens but useless. thanx :w3

Brian, if you are talking about the pce (tilt-shift) lens I am almost positive that you cannot. I just looked up

the 1.4 tc at Adorama and that lens is not listed as being compatible.

Hi Brian,

I looked into this earlier for another Nikkor micro and found the following compatibility lists. Unfortunately, the 85 mm is not listed. Canon USA states that any lens missing on the list is not compatible.

That's not quite true. The 85mm tilt and shift macro will work with the tc14b. For it to work with the TC 14e you have to remove the tab.
