Canon 1D4, 300 f2.8 + 2x tc
1/2500, f9.0, iso 800, evaluative metering, manual.
The evening light was so warm - I decreased the saturation on the bird a bit in PP.
All feedback appreciated.
Thanks

Sidharth:

Excellent full up pose, angle in frame.

Agree with the adjustment to saturation.

Lovely light and great wing position. The water droplet really adds something here.

that's a lovely image. Could it have a bit more room at the top of the frame?

You know you have the sweetest light when you have to desaturate your image.:w3 Good flying posture with raised wings, and separated nicely from the water BG. The droplets add a nice touch.

Good call on destaurating the image a bit as the sweet light saturation is perfect as is. I love the full upstroke, and the trailing drops add some additional interest.
