Love the eye contact here. The red of the face is a strong element. Well done.

Nice image Ric. That stare is amazing. Good exposure and details are sharp where they should be. Maybe just a little more canvas top and right. Good job.

I would have liked to add the extra space as you suggest...but, unfortunately, there was an undesirable element there that would have been way too much work to eliminate.
