On my last day in Cayo Santa Maria in Cuba I was rewarded with a low tide at sunrise that had exposed many of the rocks lay under the water during high tide. I used my 3 stop ND filter to lenghten the exposure to smooth out the ocean and 3 stop reverse grad to deepen the pink hues.

Hi Andrew, good use of filters to create a simple but effective image. You devoted alot of space to the sky but in this case it's working for me due to the beautiful color gradient. Nice, faint cloud line on the horizon adding interest to that area with just enough rocks filling the foreground. The hint of underwater rocks and the turquoise color also adds to the area. Nicely done...

Hey Andrew,
This was very well done all around. Agree tha tthe rocks could be a touch sharper......but the silkiness of the water as well as the soft colors really make this very appealing all around. Great job!

Andrew,

I agree with the comments above. I love this. Of course I love big skies and like how you did that here as well as the soft water look using a slow shutter speed.

Pastel perfect! Regarding the sharpening of the rocks, if they were sharpened, they would pop given the serenity of the overall image and it might change the overall feeling.
