Michael:

I like the clouds, perch, landing pose, claws out.

The mid tones look rather flat, and would consider a slight downward adjustment of the midtones in curves to give the plumage a bit more snap.

I would be tempted to move the stump slightly more to the right in the frame, not much.

Cheers

Randy

Great detail in the feathers. Love the landing shot. I would agree that the dark and midtone feathers need to be a touch darker.

Michael, Very nice landing pose. I like the composition and Randy makes a good suggestion regarding the plumage.:S3:

Beautiful feather detail in the shadows here and I really like the pose (especially the feet). I am surprised at the depth of field you got at 5.6 - that's a pretty big wingspan! If I had to be critical, it would have been nice if the head was turned just a touch more so that you got a better profile of the bill, but that is just nitpicking...

Nice image indeed! Would add some more room on the right.

Sweet landing pose Michael. I like the wing position and the outstretched talons

Hey Michael,
Midtones and darks and easy fix.......sweet pose and the perch just adds to this overall. No extra room for me!:bg3: Just tweak this and it will shine!

Hi Michael, excellent pose and well captured makes for a great image. Like the composition as is. Agree with the curves adjustment.

Strong image Michael! I like the focused stare on the perch, the talons, and the nice detail. I think Randy's suggestion about a curves adjustment is a good one
