With Canon A495,
F/3.3
ISO :80

Autumn is running, so I think to do different this time and not about wild.
Dry leaves feel something, like loneliness, failed. etc etc..
so, this week I take some different creativity to explorer..

This leaf looks like it has some interesting things going on, Bhavya. I also like the dark texture of surrounding ground, but thinking maybe a tighter crop, focussing more closely on the details on the leaf might make it stronger image.

Hi Bhavya. I like what you're trying to do here, though I think there are several things you could do to strengthen the image. Having the leaf right in the center of the frame is usually not the best composition. You might experiment with placing it more in a rule-of-thirds position. Also, a diagonal rather than horizontal orientation of the leaf would likely be more interesting. There is a lot of detail in the background that is drawing my eye away from the leaf - a tighter crop would help to focus our attention more on the leaf itself. :S3: You have a lot of room on all sides of the leaf which will allow you to explore some different compositions and crops.

Steve covered my comments exactly so there is no reason to repeat them.

I think you have been working on some good ideas so please keep posting all you can!

Hey Bhavya,
Great advice above! This is one of your stongest images lighting wide......and the compsuggestions recommended will only make this stronger.
