Good job getting low. I like the body position creating a diagonal. That eye is killer.

Stunning bird with a great pose and the food in bill is a huge bonus. I would rather see less OOF grass in the FG and more grass in the BG if you have it. I do feel that so much OOF grass in the front is a bit distracting to my eyes and takes away from your stunning subject.

A lovely bird well captured.
After reading Marina's comment on the FG grass it seems to make sense.
My solution might be to frame it in the wide screen 16:9 ratio with the bird lower in the frame. By scrolling the image off the page, it looks pretty good.

with a more panoramic frame it is possible to loose some grass in the foreground, but I think that if I use this framing and lose some grass in the foreground and give some more in the background you loose a bit of the feeling of the low point of view.
I am curious what others think about this.
