Fine image, but I preferred your earlier post which I found more intriguing. I do like the way the clouds curve around and the delicate colour. What a beautiful location.

Hi Don, agree with Hillary in preferring your earlier post. While the image is well handled the sky has lost some of it's drama and I feel doesn't have enough interest to command that much space...

Hi Don, I prefer the earlier post too. While I don't mind the wider view the previous post was more intriguing as Hilary notes.

I am really liking this composition and the pattern of clouds from left and right added to the reflections act as strong leading lines.

I believe that the problem is the large difference in bright (left) to dark (right) transition in the image. In the repost I did the following.

1) left side curves adjustment to darken it and masked out right side using a gradient.
2) right side curves adjustment to lighten it and masked out left side using a gradient.
3) shadows/highlights adjustment to reduce bright highlights and open up shadows a bit.

I love the repost. Thanks Robert for the workflow.

Hey Don,
I was going to say the same thing as everyone else:bg3:......but then I saw Robert's repost......that is the way to go and then they are even as far as I am concerned! Great job with the series!
